Burn educator Peter Yen (PA-C) will teach the lecture with a focus on the first 24 hours of treatment after a burn or wound injury. This is a closed Emergency Burn Care lecture for staff at the Milton Fire Department.

At the conclusion of this virtual course, attendees will be able to: 

• Identify demographics of flame, chemical and electrical burn injuries
• Determine when patients should be transferred to a verified burn center
• Present an initial evaluation and management of burns and other dermatologic pathologies

Since this is a closed course, participants must receive an enrollment key from their facility coordinator to self-enroll in this course.
