Leslie Poovey, a Nurse Educator for Doctors Hospital of Augusta, teaches participants about managing pain in pediatric patients. This course takes approximately 30 minutes to complete.
Objectives include:
- Understanding pain and pain pathways
- Identifying pharmacologic interventions and side effects
- Determining non-pharmacologic interventions
- Establishing guidelines for de-escalation
