In this pediatric burn lecture, Hanna Harris reviews the processes and procedures nurses should follow when preparing pediatric burn patients and their families for burn surgery. It takes approximately 30 minutes to complete. 

    Objectives include: 

    • Performing pre-operative priorities 
    • Understanding the importance of operating room preparation 
    • Understanding the role of nursing in the perioperative team 

    Course educator Hanna Harris is a Nurse Practitioner at the Joseph M. Still Burn Center at Doctors Hospital of Augusta and a member of the American Burn Association's Advanced Burn Life Support faculty.
