Dr. Travis Perry, burn medical director at Wellstar-Cobb Medical Center, will teach the lecture titled, "Complex Burn and Wound Care: Modern Strategies in Acute Care and Functional Reconstruction."

    At the conclusion of this virtual course, attendees will be able to: 

    • Identify advances in acute resuscitation and ventilation management strategies 
    • Illustrate advances in acute surgical management, adjunctive therapies and reconstructive techniques
    • Determine when patients should be transferred to a verified burn center
    • Understand contributions of skin substitutes and biomaterials
    • Understand future clinical and regenerative strategies

    Since this is a closed course, participants must receive an enrollment key from their facility coordinator to self-enroll in this course.
