Lisa Smith - Fire and EMS burn educator for the Burn and Reconstructive Centers of America - will teach the lecture that combines training focused on the first 24 hours of treatment following a pediatric burn or wound injury. This is a closed Emergency Burn Care lecture for staff at Greenwood County, SC.  

At the conclusion of this virtual course, attendees will be able to: 

• Identify demographics of flame, chemical and electrical burn injuries in pediatric patients
• Present an initial evaluation and management of burns and other dermatologic pathologies
• Determine when patients should be transferred to a verified burn center

Since this is a closed course, participants must receive an enrollment key from their facility coordinator to self-enroll in this course.
